How to use the suggestion
Treat the number as the middle of your test, not a verdict. Launch there, watch your conversion for four to six weeks, and move in £1 steps: down if the book converts poorly against comparable titles, up if it holds rank at the higher price. A series changes the maths — the first book is the advert, priced to be an easy yes, while the sequels carry the margin.
